Three Quarter Stone Shadow Picture

A listen to Three Quarter Stone is like a ride on the TTC subway... it's loud and rocking like a fast moving train, but with a little bit of everything mixed in. It can provide very different moods, from the frantic energy of rush hour to winding down at 2am, or between different sections of track. Their sound is both familiar and new, and you're sure to hear something a little different each time you have a listen. A good kind of different, like their singer's choice of shoes! So come along and Ride The Rocket with Three Quarter Stone... it's the better way to go!

LATEST NEWS:

Our album's official release date is Oct 31st... the first single 'Fighting' is now available on iTunes and the entire album, titled 'Round III' can be pre-ordered. We will have cd's, vinyl, and USB's at our merch booth for this Friday's show at Rockpile, and Thurs Oct 16th at Kitchener Lions Club Oktoberfest celebration at Queensmount Arena Kitchener!

This past weekend (July 19, 2014), Three Quarter Stone was one of 20 specially chosen bands from an original pool of 1500 to play during the "Breaking Bands" opening day of the Big Music Fest in Kitchener Ontario. Big names such as Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Slash and Styx highlighted the 3 day festival.

We are excited to announce that our latest studio album entitled "Fighting" is set to release very soon, followed by an Eastern Canada tour through Quebec and the Maritimes!

Thank-you to the Kitchener-Waterloo Lions Club for a great Oktoberfest 2013 at Altes-Munchen Haus! What a treat to meet legendary Walter Ostanek and play a couple of polka songs with him at Queensmount Arena!!

"Where It's At" is the lead single from Guelph rock quintet Three Quarter Stone's third album. It's a leering, sneering defiant summer party rock anthem that roundly declares the boys are back and pumped with cat scratch fever. Quiet Riot reborn?

'Refined garage rock; the energy and balls of AC/DC, crisp and present vocals of Mick Jaggar, with todays big pop/rock production and socially relevant themes'. Guelph is a quaint university town, whose downtown core has stereotypically been known as an 'artsy' community; but if you're expecting that Guelph's 'Three Quarter Stone' is another band of generationally lost hippies that can be found discussing the importance of granola in the vegetarian diet at Hillside Festival then you are in for a surprise. This five piece band is electrified adrenaline on stage. Pure unadulterated, triple xxx rock 'n roll!
