Bullseye Canada
Congratulations! Your song "Long Time" has been chosen from our SonicBids auditioning process to be included on the new volume of "Unsigned, Sealed & Delivered".
"Unsigned, Sealed & Delivered" is a 7 volume independent music compilation CD featuring over 100 artists from around the world which not only established Bullseye's long running reputation as a new artist showcase, but was responsible for 18 of those acts being signed to major record labels, publishing, and/or distribution deals. Some of those acts include King Apparatus (A & M Records), Carl Dixon (Interplanet Music), The Kings (the "Switchin' To Glide" band), Victims Of Luxury (Polygram Publishing), Rob Louden (Festival Distribution/MTM - Europe), and Virginia Storey (A & M Records). Several acts were also signed by Bullseye Records outright including Jeff Jones, Moving Targetz, The Hounds, Red Baron, Cheaper Than Therapy, The Zoo, Jamie Dart, Velvet Hammer, Boswell, Melanie Joy and Segarini.
All accepted acts will receive 20 copies of the finished product to be released in September 2007. The project will have North American distribution by Bullseye Records of Canada/Frontline Records through our retail distributors FUSION III (in Canada) and Burnside (in the USA). We will also be sending 500 copies to appropriate radio, print media, internetmedia, TV and film music supervisors, as well as music publishers and other record labels to maximize your exposure to the music industry at large.
Thanks for being a part of this great CD project.
Sincerely,
Jaimie Vernon,

Everytime I think I'm becoming partial to a specific style of rock and roll something comes along to remind me that I can never restrict myself to any one genre. Recently I have been listening to a lot of power pop and before that a ton of garage but after having just listened to "It Starts Right Here" by Three Quarter Stone I have rediscovered the joy of melodic hard rock.
Hailing from Guelph, Ontario, Canada, Three Quarter Stone have made it a mission to pump out some furious hard rock that features great backing/harmonizing vocals which is something that always sucks me in. While the whole album is great, there is always that one song that seems to draw me in to multiple plays and on "It Starts Right Here" there was now doubt that that song was "Without You." Loaded with killer riffs and those amazing backing vocals, "Without You" made the next playlist of Rock and Roll Report Radio in a heartbeat. Actually that's not true, it barely beat out the funky "Killed Last" for the honours but there are a bunch of tunes on this CD that could have made the list including the very cool and exotic "Bad For Me."
My recommendation is to head over to their site and listen to the album or better yet, contact the band and buy a copy. Tasty hard rock from a bunch of rockin' Canadians. Gotta love it!
